Replication Process

Gateway to College National Network provided start-up funds and technical assistance to help nine colleges implement Project DEgree in 2010-2011. We are partnering with colleges who are committed to improving service delivery to students who begin in developmental education, and have high enrollments of low-income and underrepresented students. College leaders and faculty have committed to initiating real change within their developmental education department. Project DEgree is a new way to think about student services and classroom instruction to dramatically improve retention and course pass rates.

Project DEgree replication sites were selected in September 2010 as the result of a rigorous discovery and selection process.

For more information on the Project DEgree replication process, please call Nick Mathern, Associate Vice President, Policy & Partnership Development at (971) 634-1208 or email nmathern@gatewaytocollege.org.
